Birmingham NEC Good Food Show 2009 PDF Print E-mail

NEC Good Food Show in Brimingham was again one of the highlights of the year.

The event which ran from 25th - 29th of November, had some of the Kitchens finest on display with both Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver making appearances for book signings and to run shows. Andy Peters was there all week running the Invention Test section that is a must for wannabe chefs! They were only a few of the celebrities that made the short journey from London to Birmingham for the biggest Food and Drink event of the year.

Boss Marketing's Event management team provided Merchandise Sales Management and staff for the event. They also provided drinks theatre and book signing staff throughout the event as audience numbers on the Saturday reached capacity. The event in Birmingham is almost double the size of London Masterchef Live and Boss' event team again provided a sales team of over 30, who hit targets on each day. Enthusiasm, accuracy and attention to detail is a must on an event of this size and the team did not disappoint.

The Event team now look forward to the London International Boat show from 8th-17th January.

London Masterchef Live 2009 PDF Print E-mail

The London Good Food Show was this year re-branded London Masterchef Live.

The inaugural London Masterchef Live did not disappoint an audience who had high expectations after an excellent event in 2008. The event ran from 13th-15th November and Boss Marketing's Event Managment team were on-site for the duration. The Event's team provided Merchandise sales Management for the second year running and were extremely happy with how sales went. The team provided an enthusiastic and hard working team of staff, who were accurate and effective in selling Masterchef merchandise, hitting targets on all 3 days. Despite the recession, the Management's organised and methodic approach meant that the recession did not reflect negatively in Merchandise sales.

The team are excited about providing the same service for Haymarket events at the NEC Good Food Show in Birmingham on November 25-29th.

The Middlesex Charity 7s, held on August 15th 2009 was a great success.

The event took place at Twickenham and included all 12 Guiness Premiership sides and 4 invitation sides. The fantastic crowd, who were dressed as everything from Superman to Smurf, Banaman to Caveman, were treated to a fantastic display of rugby at the home of English rugby. England stars Delon and Steffon Armitage, along with younger brother Guy, led London Irish to their first Middlesex 7s title.

Boss Marketing worked together with the Middlesex Charity 7s committee on all aspects of Marketing and promotions, as well as on-day operations, in order to create the atmosphere and excitement that has been typical of the Middlesex Charity 7s' 83 year history.
